具体と抽象

抽象と具体の「往復」こそが人生のダイナミズムだと思ってます。

抽象的な大枠の話も抑えつつ、落とし込んだ具体的な話もできる人になりたい。

そういう人は、

具体的なことを、抽象化して、他のケースに当てはめて縦横無尽に発想する。

例えもうまいし、アイデアも豊富。

僕は感覚的に、抽象は「大人」っぽく、具体は「子供」っぽくを意識している。

言語でもいえることで、

英語は抽象に向かい、日本語は具体に向かうことで、共感を得るものだと思います。

これから先、もっともっと「具体的な思考」と、「抽象的な思考」を身につけていきたい。

Concrete and abstract

I think that abstraction and concrete "round-trip" is the dynamism of life.

I want to become a person who can both talk about abstract broad story, narrow concrete story.

Such a person transforms concrete things into abstract things.

And, such a person applies to other cases and get an idea freely.

Such a person is also good at metaphor and has abundant ideas.

By saying also in language,

I think English is heading for abstract, and Japanese is heading for concrete.

I think that it gains empathy by doing so.

I would like to acquire more "concrete thinking" and "abstract thought" from now on.
